Our Core Initiatives
People Power is built on the belief that ordinary people still possess the strength, compassion, wisdom, and determination to improve the world around them.
At a time when many communities feel unheard, underserved, or disconnected from the institutions meant to support them, we believe citizens must rise together—not in division, but in service. Our mission is to strengthen communities through communication, cooperation, outreach, and civic engagement.
People Power encourages neighbors to help neighbors by sharing reliable information, supporting local needs, organizing volunteer efforts, and creating stronger connections between residents and elected officials. We believe communities become stronger when people actively participate in solving problems together.
Our goal is not to replace government, but to help bridge the gap between public institutions and the people they serve. By staying informed, involved, and united, we can assist our communities in times of need and help leaders remain connected and accountable to their constituents.

My People Power is building Neighborhood Outreach Crews to serve communities directly and support neighbors in need.
Our teams will:
• Knock on doors and connect with residents
• Make phone calls and share important information
• Deliver goods and supplies
• Assist with community needs
• Help residents communicate with local government officials when support is needed

Through virtual meetings and nationwide collaboration, we will bring communities together to discuss local needs and concerns, engage directly with leaders, and develop strategies that create effective and lasting change.
These conversations will strengthen communication, build accountability, and empower everyday people to take an active role in shaping the future of their communities and our democracy.
Community Outreach
Working with members of Congress, local businesses, organizers, and civic leaders, we are preparing both policy and people for the realities facing our communities.
Our neighborhood outreach crews will serve as boots on the ground throughout the year — maintaining direct communication between elected officials and their constituents, identifying urgent needs, and connecting communities to real solutions.
At a time when leadership on the Hill remains divided and disconnected, we believe communities must step up for one another.
This is that effort.

Community Trainings
We cannot allow things to get this out of hand ever again.

My People Power will train people on the political process — bridging the gaps between knowledge, communication, accountability, and action.
Democracy is not something we watch from the sidelines. We all have a role to play, and we must learn how to engage effectively, responsibly, and the right way.
Through bi-weekly trainings, community outreach, and civic engagement workshops, we will teach the first steps of the political process, set expectations for meaningful participation, and help people develop effective advocacy skills that create real change.
Our Neighborhood Outreach Crews will serve as boots on the ground year-round, keeping communication open between elected officials and the communities they represent. We will identify needs, connect people to solutions, and strengthen the relationship between government and the people.
United States of... Mind
My People Power is where like-minded people come together to build a better future.
Conversations are happening, and this is the result of them. Elected officials, community organizers, business owners, and other leaders have been speaking directly with members of their communities to better understand both the needs people are facing and what can be done to address them.
What we’ve discovered is that many people are willing to help if someone steps forward with the structure and infrastructure needed for effective change. More and more people recognize that we must actively participate in our democracy in order to uphold its ideals.
My People Power has created a framework for getting into our communities right now and working together to resolve issues as best we can with the resources currently available to us.
